If you are using QuickBooks online with NeedleNine, you will need to ensure that all payments types and credit cards have been entered into QuickBooks Online for balances to reflect correctly in the user profile.
Use the following instructions to create credit cards types in QuickBooks Online.
In QuickBooks Online
- Go to Settings ⚙, then select All lists in the LISTS column.
- Select Payment Methods.
- Select New.
- Enter the name for the payment method, then select the This is a credit card checkbox, if applicable.
Note: Merchant Services won’t be able to add the payment method if you don’t select the This is a credit card checkbox. Use this if you only need to record a credit card payment. - Select Save.
