Course Quizzes

NeedleNine integrates quizzes for course stage and lessons. This article describes how to create and edit quizzes within a course.

Creating a Quiz

Adding a quiz to a stage within a course is simple:

1. Select the appropriate course and choose Edit option. You can also edit a course Draft but changes will not be published until Approved and Activated.

2. Select the Syllabus tab, choose appropriate stage, expand Stage Quiz section and click +Add Quiz link.

Quizzes can also be created for individual lessons by editing the desired Lesson, expanding the Lesson Quiz section and clicking link.

3. Clicking the link opens a window to enter quiz information including Quiz Name, minimum Passing Score, maximum allowed time to complete, number of questions to include and Quiz Description. You may add as many quiz questions as needed and either include All or let NeedleNine randomly choose questions from bank to the desired quantity.

4. Once creating the quiz you may begin adding lessons. Simply fill in the fields and upload images, if necessary. Always enter the correct answer in Option 1. NeedleNine will randomly display the option sequence when student creates quiz.

5. When finished adding questions, click the Complete button to save quiz. If done editing the course, click Save & Publish to make the quiz live and available to students.
