Creating a reservation

Reservations can be created through on either the desktop or mobile version.  For mobile-specific differences, please see mobile articles (coming soon).

  1. To create a reservation, select any white tile space on the Schedule matrix, ideally at the desired start time for either the aircraft or instructor you intend to schedule your reservation with.
  2. This will open the Add Reservation window with a list of Flight Types.  Make an appropriate selection.
  3. After selecting a flight type, the window will show editable fields to customize the reservation.  The aircraft or instructor and start time prepopulate based on the initial matrix selection.  The end time defaults to two hours after start time.  All fields may be edited to desired values.
  4. Should any value not meet availability conditions, an error message is displayed at top of window indicating conflict.  Conflicts include:
    • Aircraft not available at selected times
    • Aircraft not approved for course
    • Instructor not available at selected times
    • Instructor not approved for course
  5. Notes may be optionally entered for clear communication between the client, instructor, and staff. 
  6. If all conditions meet validation criteria, select Save button to complete Add Reservation process.

Once the reservation is created, a tile will appear on the schedule matrix. Reservation details are visible on Client Profile > Schedule.  An email notification is also sent to user with reservation details as confirmation.  If user has also set up calendar sync, the reservation details will sync with user’s calendar tool.

Note: for Training reservations, only the instructors who have been approved to act as an instructor for that course will show in the instructor drop-down menu.
