Flight instructors are easily managed through detailed approvals that align with your school policy and regulatory requirements. To modify these settings, simply go to user profile you wish to modify.
Note: Permission may not be granted to self. Only another user may modify your Course and Billing permissions.
Course Sign Off
For approving instructors to teach a course, select the Instructor > Course Sign Off tabs and click the + Sign Off Course button.
Select the checkbox for each course the instructor is allowed to teach. If user is approved to conduct Stage Check evaluations, select Yes to enable. If you have currency requirements such as annual Part 141 requalification training, enter the expiration date to ensure compliance. This will inhibit dispatch process when expired. Click Save to complete.
You will now see summary of course approvals in user profile.
Instructor Billing
Instructor Billing allows you to approve specific rates for specific instructors. For example, maybe one instructor is only allowed to teach primary flight and ground while another instructor is approved to bill flight and ground evaluation at different rates. These options can be customized to your business model.
To approve instructor billing, select Instructor > Billing from user profile. Click the +Add Billing button to modify.
All items saved in Accounting Item List under Flight Instruction and Ground Instruction parent categories are displayed here.
Click the checkboxes for rates you wish this user to be able to charge. Click Save button when finished. A summary of approved billing rates in now visible in user profile.
