Taking a Quiz

Once a quiz is saved in course, allowing students to complete the quiz is simple.

1. To prevent students from accessing the quiz in advance, the quiz must be unblocked by an Instructor when the student is ready. The quiz remains in an unlocked state until the student completes the quiz. Select the Training Record in student profile and click the Unlock link for quiz.

2. The student may then go to Training Record and begin quiz.

3. A window will inform student the number of questions, minimum passing score and how much time allowed to complete. When completed, the quiz is automatically locked from further edits. An additional alert warns the student to use the quiz, not browser, buttons as refreshing the browser page will cause the quiz to close and record grade at that time.

4. Completing questions is easy. Simply click the desired answer and navigation buttons at bottom of window. When all questions have been answered, click Submit to end the quiz. Images can be expanded to full screen view by clicking the image and clicking a second time to close.

5. Once submitted the quiz is automatically graded and results displayed for student. The quiz reverts to a locked state and results are archived in the student Training Record.

To remediate any incorrect questions with the student, the instructor can expand the Quiz window in Training Record to view details for each quiz attempt.

Click Review Answers button to see each question.

Questions answered wrong indicate the student selection in red and the correct answer in green.

Should the student need to retake the quiz, the instructor simply unlocks again and NeedleNine will generate a new quiz.
