Lesson grading in NeedleNine is simple and intuitive. When completed properly, lesson records can be a powerful tool for students to understand progress and administrators to gain valuable training insights. Follow these steps to grade lessons for your students.
- After completing a lesson an Open Record is displayed on your NeedleNine dashboard. Click the Sign button to open lesson grading window.
- Next, confirm the lesson to be graded. If a different lesson was conducted during flight, this is the last opportunity to correct before recording.
- After confirming lesson enter lesson details including Flight/Ground/Sim times, applicable notes and lesson result. These lesson times are for training record purposes and not associated with billing. Notes are visible to student and administrators so best practice is to enter enough information to generally describe lesson performance but not in excessive detail.
- Lesson tasks are graded on a scale of 1-5 or N/A if not attempted. The Training Course Outline for course defines the scale metrics and should be followed. In general, deficient tasks should include a category and comment. This helps communicate training performance to both student and administrators tracking student progress.
- When complete, enter your NeedleNine credentials and click Sign button to electronically sign record.
