Endorsements in NeedleNine can be used as electronic copies of student endorsements but provide a few additional key features.
- Endorsements are not just limited to student pilots. The feature can also be used for tracking annual TSA Security Awareness training, required Safety Meetings and any other custom endorsement you require.
- Expiration dates are referenced during checkout process. If the endorsement expires the user is inhibited from checkout without override. This helps ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policy.
- Upload a photo for peace of mind. If a logbook is lost or stolen, the photograph of signed original is sufficient to rebuild your records.
Pro Tips:
- When an endorsement expires either delete or edit with new expiration date. Adding a new endorsement with the expired remaining in profile will still cause the checkout to fail.
- After a student completes training don’t forget to review profile and remove endorsements no longer applicable.
